    Hi Buddy,

I have gone thru ur interview exp with the comp. I don't think that u
have made a blunder any where. Since u r saying that ur communication
skill is good enough i dont find any specific reason for which they
didn't hire u. I personally do feel that u should have said that
u r interested in higher studies and u should not have mentioned
abt the economic conditions of ur family. But this is not at all
    an issue for selection.

This is wat i advise u that in ur future interviews if at all any one
ask abt ur family economic condition say that ur in better position.
Becoz they will be of opinion that a person who is in some problem
cannot serve the org.A person can give his cent percent only when he is
    problem free.

Dont analyze the situation too deeply. Forget abt it and learn some
thing from it so that for the next time u gain some thing frm it. All
    the best. BYE.

    Hi,

Saying that your family economic condition is not healty was your biggest negative point.

They are of view that since you are in need of money you may join other firm or call centre and your iteration point will be too high in their record.

HR generally thinks that you are not interested in project and will not continue for longer or will ask for bigger raise when your promotion is due. This will always a big headache for everyone.

Do not show that you are in need of job but show that you are interested in job.

    Interest always rules the need.

well true...and they must've decided before u came that they didnt want u...dont worry be happy there is always light at the end of the tunnel..maybe they will call u again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
55/38/7 Rule - The words you use only have a 7% impact on your communication. Your tone of voice only amounts to another 38%, but your non-verbal body language amounts to a whopping 55% impact on the message you are trying to communicate.

    Re: wats my mistake!!

    All,

In general, I wouldn't have choose to answer this thread as the thread is too old. But looking at the discussion, I would like to tell my points here.

I agree with few and disagree with few members. Probably the reason why he is not selected may not be because he is bad or done any mistake. But they might have got a better candidate (atleast they might have felt so).

Many people said we should not tell that we are in bad financial condition. HR may take it in other way. But every one is forgetting the other side of the coin. Only person who need a job will take it more seriously and will work hard to keep it. So there are equal chances that HR will consider this point also (in view, more chances). So, I don't think it is practically valid point.

One thing not to forget in interviews is, interview results won't depend on our performance solely. They also depend on the performance of other candidates.

    Thanks,
    Krishna
