Re: restarting problem

Just install the new operating system and then install all what ever you need
bcoz of the some virus which is extends with .exe and restarts every time when u start it and if it is problem of Hardware just clean the ram with the eraser on the pinpoints holder then clipit and just go through.

Re: restarting problem

My experinece is, there could be two reasons for this. First is because of some virus and the second one is, if there is some dust particles in RAM slot, then this happens.

Try to clean your RAM slot and see if it gives any better results. Is your anti-virus software is upto date to catch latest viruses? If not, update it. If none of these two resolves your issue, I will suggest you to reformat your system if you don't have any critical data and if you have all software installers because windows is well known for periodic wear and tears for which we will not have reasons.

Thanks,
Krishna

Re: restarting problem

Hi syed,

There could be a problem with the anit-virus too. You didn't mention whether you have a internet connection,
If you dont have a internet connection, just try the following procedure:
Click Start->Run->type msconfig->click on startup tab->Click Disable all

I cannot assure you this will resolve the problem, but try this.

If you have a Internet connection, try the following procedure:
Click Start->Run->type services.msc->a new window pops up, select Remote Procedure Call(RPC)[not the rpc with locator]->right click RPC and goto properties->click on Recovery tab->make First failure, second failure and susequent failure as "Restart the service"->Apply and OK...

I'm sure if you have a internet connection, this procedure will help you out of this problem.

Regards,
Kris

Re: restarting problem

Yes, what Raj told is right, here the problem could be with two things,
Overheated up of ur processor, clean it once , remove all the dust and fix two fans that cool up ur processor and other could be ur SMPS

Let me know your questions

Thank You
