Hi Madhuri,
You can install Oracle 9i or above. Releases prior to 9i are not supported in XP. Thanks, Krishna

Hi bhaskar, Is oracle 8i is suitable for XP.I dont think so.Are you sure?

Re: regarding oracle version
Rena 8i works in Xp but every time we have to connect to database and then we have to start the services and do the queries so tidy job so 9i is good i found 10g very intersting as we can do it in command prompt and we can move front and back with out erasing the query and change and insert in between.try it.
