Re: need help

Hi ravi Goodmorning,Kamaal ki baath hai yaar, already tum tho sys admn ho,phir b.........it's ok. Friend your ambition to learn abt hardware and networking is apriciated. But u can't learn by reading the books u r self . It is difficult to under stand the problems . I don't know for what purpose u r willing to learn this.means just for knowledge or to become a proffession? U decide it first. Better to learn in any good institute, to get full knowledge in that. If u have ur own system presss F1 button and select the topic which u want. There u can get full info abt ur system trouble shooting.(H/W&S/W) we can know better abt our system if we have our own PC. I did practicals on my PC only. Now iam perfect to solve max problems. First you get OS like windows 98/win pro 2000 / winxp all with office tools CD's.Already driver CD's will come along with our system.before that u must have a Disk partition/manager CD. LIttle bit i'll tell u abt that. In a new hard disk (eg:40GB)only one volume will be there i.e 40 gb. If it is like this with that much volume,we can't store other files like music/video/other software or u r personal files etc.. while the operating system is in that. Then we have to do partition the disk . for that we use to do the partition the disk in ot 4 volume like 10,10,10,10 GB's resp... with disk partation manager CD. After completion of the partation, remove the cd and insert the OS boot cd which you want to install.insert that cd.automatically it boots itself.read the matter what appeares on the screen while instaling the OS and follow as you want/it directs. That's enough for loading s/w. After completion of this we have to install drivers.means i.e resolutin, sound drivers etc..that cd comes with system itself only. ravi for more knowledge better to learn in inst only.
Already u r doing as a system admn, so u can learn all these easily.
Bye .........
