iam getting the following MESSENGER SERVICE popup's any soluction PLZ HELP
"Message from From to To on 11/8/06
STOP! WINDOWS REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ATTENTION.
windows has found 55 Critical system errors

To fix the errors please do the following:
1.Download Registry Update from:www.regfixit.com
2.Install Registry Update
3.Run Registy Update
4.Reboot your computer

FAILURE TO ACT NOW MAY LEAD TO SYSTEM FAILURE! "

But can help me out in clearing those Errors.

I have this problem and downloaded many softwares to clean my system registry, but all in vein..
As they are free to use only to detect the errors not to Clear...

congratulations, it is an Adware.

nothing to worry though.
do this:- ( a quick fix )

Turn the Mesenger Service off (disable it).

start -> run -> service.msc -> ok

Then scroll down to "Messenger", right-click, select properties, and then stop it and and saet the "Startup type" to "disabled".

This will stop those annoying windows popups.

scan ur pc and delete the adware.
Install a good Firewall.

do you have internet connection? If you have, then do you have Yahoo pop-up blocker installed in your machine? If it is already installed, check if it is up to date and active.

Doing this might help you.

instead of using third party pop-up blocker...better still..use FireFox or Opera...much much better.
