Intel Completes WiMax Chipset Design

In addition to offering WiMax connectivity, Intel's new WiMax Connection 2300 chipset will integrate the latest support for MIMO -- or multiple input, multiple output -- Wi-Fi networking. Plus, WiMax Connection 2300 promises to be a low-power platform that won't be a heavy tax on battery life, making it suitable for installation in thin and light notebooks.
