Testing is the process in which defects are identified & isolated ,subject for rectification.ensure that the product is defect free.

Testing process means end to end description and following of an agreed systematic flow to acheive the validation and verification of application under test. The testing process starts from requirment analysis phase and goes up to wrap up.
It includes the lead and feed to next stage. e.g in the first phase say we have SRS in hand then testing will produce certain document on the same which could be either Impact analysis judgement, test plan, test strategy or whatever. In every organization there are certain service level agreements which defines test processes.
