stubs are used in top down integartion. It simulates the activity of a lower level component.
Drivers are used in bottom up integration which simulates the activity of a higher level component

stubs are dummy modules which are known as "called programs" which is used in integration testing (top down approach),used when sub programs are under construction.

Drivers are also kind of dummy modules which are known as "calling programs",which is used in bottom up integration testing, used when main programs are under construction

Stub:A skeletal or special purpose implementation of a software component, used to develop or test a component that calls or is otherwise dependent on it.It replaces a called component.
Driver: A software component that replaces a component that take cares of the control and/or the calling of a component or system.

There is also another type of testing which contains both stubs and drives is called SandWitch Integration Testing
