What is the difference between test monitoring and test control?

I have searched about this in many sites..I m not able to find anwer for this question.Please help

Controling is the next step after monitoring.
Monitoring includes keeping the track of progress of Testing, by analysis of reports or any physical evidance.
Controling the test means providing or assigning tasks or bringing changes and verify their execution to meet the deadlines and requirements.
