Find out the first priority 3 issues..

Consider a senario

You are testing a lift. Lift have to be delivered tomorrow. So many test cases are to be tested yet.But any way we have to delive product tomorrow. I this situation which 3 testcases will you execute based on priority.

Completely depands on Business requirement document or SRS document. The high priority cases would be running. A tester can never say, which are high priority requirements, only a business analyst or a project manager can define them.

Here in this case though functionality of lift that it moves up and down on a call may look like a high priority requirement to us but this is not the decision of a Tester or QA.

What a tester do in this case is raise this issue as a risk to all stake holders and explain the consequences as per his knowledge and wait for the Business people or management to deliver the approach.
