I have been asked this question so many times, How to get job in software testing? or How to switch to testing career?

There are some simple rules that you can follow which will guide to the job destination.

First remove the "anyone can do" career attitude from your mind.
Prepare for at least one programming language basics.
Understand the manual testing concepts thoroughly.
Any Automation tool or bug tracking tool knowledge.

These are my simple tips ;-) Sounds tough? Actually there is nothing simple in this world. You must achieve what you want with your own strengths!

Hi,

I’m an IT professional having 3 years experience as Quality Control Analyzer in a reputed e-greetings website. My responsibility includes checking the quality of e-cards in respect of content, design and layout. I have to ensure error free contents in the online server including layout and designs by detecting errors at the folder and local step by using different internal software.
I have completed MCA in the year 2005 and I want to be a successful Tester in the field of software testing. As I have some knowledge regarding Manual Testing (Functionality testing of the website) I would like to be an expert in the field of testing.
I would like to know the way to change my career in Software Testing field. Please suggest necessary information.
