Helo Guys...I've succesfully cracked my QTP 9.5 14 Day Trial Period. I installed QTP on Fresh Install WindowsXP.Earlier i faced some problem with QTP, as recording button got disabled. Anywayz i come to installation part how i made it success. Trust me this works.
1. Make sure you login in this forum to download the file.
2. Download crack from this forum : http://forums.sureshkumar.net/attach...-2-mercury.zip
3.Extract the Folder and Copy the Legend Folder content into QTP installation Director . Default installation directory for QTP is (:\Program Files\HP\QuickTest Professional). Copy here l-mqt82 file from the crack folder. (dont get tempted to click it ).
4. Create a folder "License Manager" (without quotes) at following path :\Program Files\Common Files\Mercury Interactive\
5. Now Go back to :\Program Files\HP\QuickTest Professional and click the I-mqt82 file. You get License Generated succesfully message. This works only under Windows XP. Not tested on other OS.
6. Now go back to "\Program Files\Common Files\Mercury Interactive\License Manager" Folder, you can see "lservrc" file . Open a NOTEPAD, drag and drop that file onto Notepad. You can see some Long Code.jus copy everything before "QuickTest pro"Version "6.0" " (to make it simple, in first line copy the code till #)
7. Now open QTP 9.5 ,If it shows License Expired,im sure you can still install this code, Click INSTALL button, it asks if you want to install New license, Click YES, in next screen, select SEAT OPTION, and click NEXT,jus copy and past the Code in STEP 6 and click INSTALL. You get a confirmation saying. LIcense Installed Succesffully. Now open QTP again , go to Help About and click License. You can see as Permanent License.

One more QUick Tip, never install any Critical Updates given by QTP . If you install them,you may endup QTP License error. Hope it helps..Thanks
