Post HP Performance Centre 9.0 (LoadRunner) certification

Hi All,
I have 3 yrs exp in HP LoadRunner. I am preparing to appear for the AIS and ASE exams for HP Performance centre9.0 in 2 months time.
I have gathered the information that the folowing exams are needed:
HP Performance Center9.0 certification
AIS - 2 exams required for this:
a) core exam - 2 hour multiple choice in VU Gen (HP0-M19)
b) elective exam - 2hr mulitple choice in LR software(HP0-M18)

ASE - 2 exams required for this:
a) core exam - 3 hour lab-based in Scripting using VU Gen (HP0-M83)
b) elective exam - 3 hour lab-based in Performance testing using LR software (HP0-M84)

AIS level exam is pre-requisite for ASE. Is this true?
(AIS is equivalent to Product Consultant level certication of Mercusy and ASE is CPC-level.)
Has anyone appeared for these exams before?
What is the cost of the exams? I have heard that its 62$ per exam.Is that true?
Can anyone share their experiences or any study material and practice question papers to help me and others in this forum?

Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Chandni

Re: HP Performance Centre 9.0 (LoadRunner) certification

For AIS it is $150 each for core and elective.
One must pass AIS to be eligible for ASE.

Be thorough with Vugen, Controller, and Analysis User guide and you can pass the test.
Good Luck

For AIS user manuals will be sufficient.
For ASE, you need to have more indepth knowledge. I would advise one to take ASE only after working atleast for 1 year.
I think its $1200 for both core and elective.

Re: HP Performance Centre 9.0 (LoadRunner) certification

I am preparing for HP AIS (Beginner level) certification exam and I am self preparing for the exam by going through HP user guide and prcaticing on the tool.
Can anybody, who has already taken the exam, tell me if i need to go through only web (HTTP/HTML) protocol or all the protocols.
Also is going through user guide is sufficient for the preparation?
Please share some of the sample questions.
