Hi,

I am new to QTP and want to have some hands-on practice so I want to install QTP on my Vista machine , I have few problems/questions..

1) Which version of QTP will work on vista?

2)By reading some post in this forum I came to know that 9.2 will work.....so I tried to download from hp-mercury site first.... I register...then search for QTP 9.2 and I found two choices first is QTP for .Net 9.2 Evaluation and second is QTP for web services add-in 9.2 Evaluation.
a)Which one I should go for?
b)Can you please provide me step by step guidence to downlaod QTP?

Hi,
I have installed QTP10.0 14 days trial version from HP site on Vista. I have also downloaded the crack 'uploaded_by_benoy-crack_qtp.zip' .
But after creating License manager folder at desired path, i tried to execute l-mqt82.exe file, it did not generated any lservc file but the same .exe works on Windows XP.

Can anyone help me to get l-mqt82.exe file that is executable on vista.

Hi Sonu,

I downloaded QTP 10.0 on Vista only. It works absolutely fine.
Just follow the installation procedure and instal it.

Hi Isha,
If you have run the exe and you have got the Success message and you are still not able to see the file, click on 'Compatibility Files' button. You will then be able to see the file. The same happened with me and it is working fine now.
