What is test bed?? Please explain in brief or a link to know about test bed would be fine too.

In a very simple terms, the instance or the environment in which we test our application/code is called test bed.

HI,
yes test environment is basically called as test bed.
the hardware and software requirements are known as the testbed
The term is used across many disciplines to describe a development environment that is shielded from the hazards of testing in a live or production environment.
