wat is difference between test case and test scenarios?

this is sheela..i want to know the difference between test case and test scenarios....can anyone explain me this

For example:- "Login" can be called as a scenario.
In that scenario we can write many testcases like 1."Enter valid username - enter invalid paswword- click Login" 2. Enter invalid username and valid password - click login.

Test Scenarios are derived from the FRS document or Use Cases. In order to ensure the 100% requirement coverage we prepare the Test Scenarios. In order to validate a Test Scenario several Test Cases are prepared. One Test Scenario will have many Test Cases. Best example is already given by the above user.

Test Cases are series of steps to be executed focused on specific aim of the software
Test Scenario is context for executing the test cases
