Job Description:
# Integration of Solaris, Oracle, Volume Managers, Cluster Software etc in the Platform Product’s OEM stack.
# Involves working with Cluster hardware, Storage systems etc.
1 Scan for bug corrections and patch updates of OEMs.
2 Ensure that appropriate configuration of the OEM products are done.
3 Ensure inter working of OEM products and ensure HA.
# Development of frameworks using various programming languages & scripting for installation, upgrade, backup & restore, live migration of the systems.
# Migration of Solaris
1 OEM upgrades
2 Migration of data
# Managing the patches from Solaris & OEM vendors
# Evaluating their applicability and ensure roll-out.
# Evaluating and proposing introduction of new OEMs for better performance and capability.
