Academic Performance

60 % in Std X, XII, Graduation and Post Graduation.
Candidates with more than 2 years gap will not be eligible.

Disciplines:

UG-BE / BTech [Computer Science, Information Science, IT, S/W]
PG-ME / MTech [Computer Science, Information Science, IT, S/W]
MCA (with BSc/BCom/BCA/BA with Maths only)
MSc [Computer Science, Information Science, IT, S/W],
MBA [with IT & Systems] with engineering background only;

We may consider students from other branches in a later stage, subject to requirement.

Process of Applying:

www.careers.tcs.com BE/BTech/MTech/MCA/MSc Freshers (2006)

The candidates need to apply in the portal, www.careers.tcs.com then apply in the BE/BTech/MTech/MCA/MSc Freshers (2006) link, specifying their preferred location for the test. After the screening of the cvs in the portal is over, each candidate will receive an Auto Generated Hall Ticket in their respective e-mail ids, which mentions clearly the date of test, venue, and place for photograph and the slot for appearing in the DT Drive. The candidates must come for the test along with this HALL TICKET (Failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the test).
IMPORTANT: The portal will remain open till 10th September 2006. The Hall ticket would be sent only after 10th Sept.

Please note that Short-listing would be done exclusively through the portal (www.careers.tcs.com) only.

NOTE:

Please note that there will not be any SPOT REGISTRATION.

Dates: 7th & 8th October, 2006 (Saturday & Sunday)
Registration Timings: 9:00 – 2:00 pm

All interested candidates must carry the following items to the venue:

- Hall Ticket
-A copy of his latest resumes mentioning the educational qualifications including percentage of marks
-Photocopies & Originals of all mark sheets (Class 10 & 12) and Graduation (individual mark sheets for all years/semesters) and Post Graduation (individual mark sheets for all years/semesters) Original and photocopies mark sheets should be kept in sequence starting from Std 10th.

-A passport size photograph
-A proof of his / her identity (voter ID, driving license, passport)
-An HB pencil, eraser and a sharpener for the exam

In case a candidate is unable to get the identity proof (mentioned in point 4 above), he/ she can carry the hall ticket to the venue as proof of identity. The Hall ticket must contain the photograph of the candidate (please note that without the photograph, we will not be entertaining any candidate).

Outstation candidates would be required to arrange for their own travel and stay during the period of the interview.
